In 2025, The Dicky Buckle Fund awarded a grant to Ekleido, a duo comprising Hannah Ekholm and Faye Stoeser, whose work spans live performance and film. Together, they bring experience from contemporary dance, the commercial world, and underground club and street-dance scenes.

At their performance at Hatch House for Ballet Under the Stars, Ekleido presented two works, Splice and Clinquant. Clinquant was a new piece commissioned and specially funded by The Dicky Buckle Fund, and both works translated beautifully to the setting. The audience was mesmerised by the way the duo blended contemporary dance with underground club and battle styles, creating movement that felt both powerful and closely connected.

The pieces explored ideas of limits and possibility, as the two dancers worked together to solve shared physical challenges. Seen up close, the performances were absorbing, highlighting the trust between the dancers and the strength of their partnership.
